Field Operations / Environmental Specialist (w/m/d)

We are seeking an entry level or intermediate Field Operations / Environmental Specialist based in Berlin for an immediate start. The role involves supporting our OGMP, LDAR and field testing activities in and around the EU. This is an onsite role based in Berlin.

Responsibilities:

• Field testing of AIRMO optical equipment

• Drone mission planning (including drone operations)

• Ensuring compliance with local flight regulations and safety standards

• Planning, execution, and reporting of methane measurement campaigns, OGMP L4 and OGMP L5 site assessments using proprietary AIRMO and other equipment (up to 50% travel)

• Engagement with stakeholders; clients, AIRMO technical staff, and regulators where necessary 

About You

• A background in Logistics, Sustainability, Environmental Monitoring, O&G environmental compliance or similar

• You enjoy using and understanding technology, from computers to cameras to drones 

• You have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English

• You have the ability to thrive in the outdoors (sun, wind, rain, snow)

• You have the right to live and work in the EU

• Valid EU driving licence

Nice to Have

• Experience in the Oil and Gas / Energy industry

• Enthusiasm about all things drones!

• Experience with surveying, mapping, or photogrammetry missions

• Fluent in German, French, Spanish, Arabic, and/or Russian

• Valid EU drone operator licence (A1/A3, A2)

• Gasspürer DVGW
